Maruti Suzuki recently gave the Celerio hatchback a midlife makeover, and also, introduced the Celerio X which is a bolder crossover-like variant. Now, the brand is eyeing the taxi segment and have launched the Celerio Tour H2 for cab aggregators. This particular variant has been priced at INR 4.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Celerio Tour H2 is available only in one variant and is based on the LXi (O) version of the standard hatchback. So, it shares all the equipment as per the variant comparison.
Powering the Celerio Tour H2 taxi variant is a 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol motor producing 68 HP of power and 90 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is no AMT option for the Tour H2. The Celerio Tour H2 will deliver 23.10 kmpl of mileage.
Keeping rules under check, Maruti Suzuki has equipped the Tour H2 with a speed limiting device. Thanks to this, the Celerio Tour H2 will have a top speed limited to 80 kmph. This will ensure that cab aggregators drive the vehicle responsibly and within speed limits.
For safety, the Celerio Tour H2 comes with a driver side airbag.
