Maruti Suzuki cars get PM 2.5 cabin air filter

Maruti Suzuki is offering upgraded cabin air filters for their range of vehicles including the Baleno, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, XL6, Ignis, Ciaz, S Cross and Vitara Brezza. The upgraded cabin air filter is a PM 2.5 air filter which is quite an upgrade from the PM 10 that is currently offered in the system. Reports suggest that the new filter is made with non-woven fabric with electrostatic properties that not only filters out dust, dirt, smoke, fly ash but also PM 2.5 level particulates. The regular filter is not able to filter diesel smoke, tobacco smoke and smog. The only downside is of the new filter is the high cost. Due to the Indian climatic conditions, the filter will need replacements at regular intervals and cost around INR 600. The PM 2.5 cabin air filter part number is 990J0M66RS0-010 and 990J0M82PS0-010.

In-line with the festive season, Maruti Suzuki also launched the Swift Limited edition which comes with an add-on accessory pack that comes with a new wing-shaped splitter on the front bumper, side skirts and rear body kit, side body moulding finished in chrome, smoked effect door visors and an aerodynamic spoiler on the tailgate. The Swift Limited edition also comes with Sporty Seat covers that complement the rounded instruments cluster and the flat-bottomed steering wheel. The Swift Limited Edition is available across all variants at an additional cost of INR 24,990.

A couple of months ago the brand also announced the celebrations of the Maruti Suzuki Arena sales channel which was launched in 2017 and provides a digitized, seamless and connected car buying experience to its target audience which is young, dynamic and tech-savvy customers.
