Maruti Suzuki India is celebrating three years of the brand’s latest Maruti Suzuki Arena sales channel in the Indian market. In the last three years, Maruti Suzuki has opened 745 Maruti Suzuki Arena sales channels across the country strengthening the brand’s network of over 2,300 sales outlets in India. In total, the brand has three channels through which it sells the vehicles namely – ARENA, NEXA and Commercial.
The Maruti Suzuki Arena sales channel was launched in 2017 and provide a digitized, seamless and connected car buying experience to its target audience which is young, dynamic and tech-savvy customers. The Maruti Suzuki Arena features state-of-the-art modern gadgets that allow customers to customize and get detailed information digitally about the specifications and attributes of Maruti Suzuki products.
Research has suggested that nearly 80% of car buyers choose to explore online before going to the showroom to finalise their purchase. Customers are provided with a seamless offline to online transition, from showrooms to the intuitive and streamlined website that averages 6.48 million visits a month. Touchscreen navigation systems at the Maruti Suzuki Arena provides customization options offered by i-Create allows customers to design the car, providing a Tailor-made experience for the customers.
The Maruti Suzuki Arenas also employ Relationship Managers, Owner’s Lounge and a Cafe Consultation Zone, to assist the buyer with tablet computers that can showcase the entire range of Maruti Suzuki products along with each variant for comparison.
The Maruti Suzuki Arena’s portfolio includes Maruti Suzuki’s flagship range of products like Alto, S-PRESSO, WagonR, Celerio, CelerioX, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga. The brand has also employed stringent safety SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) with strict sanitization procedures in view of customer and staff safety.
In other news, Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported domestic sales of 100,000 units and 1,307 units for other OEMs in the domestic market in addition to 6,757 units exported in the month of July 2020. The brand has posted a total sales figure of 108,064 units in July 2020 which shows a growth of 88.2% over June 2020 and a fall of 1.1% over July 2019.
