As per the official Nexa website, the Grand Vitara CNG model has been axed. This silent discontinuation came after the strategic launch of the updated Grand Vitara recently.
The S-CNG Grand Vitara was being offered in two variants, which came loaded with the latest features like the 9-inch infotainment system, cruise control, auto AC, rear defogger, projector headlamps, and more.
The S-CNG variants of the Grand Vitara were powered by the 1.5-litre four-cylinder motor, which developed 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of power and torque, respectively. Unlike its petrol siblings, the CNG iteration was only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
While the company has not revealed any reason behind this move, we strongly believe that the CNG variants will soon be launched with the new updates that have been added to the petrol variants recently.
Mind you, Maruti recently launched the updated Grand Vitara with new variants and new features like the 17-inch alloy wheels, ambient lighting, and more.
