Mahindra XUV700 variants revealed, full pricing not announced yet

In the recent past when Mahindra announced the launch of the XUV700, the brand did not reveal the full variant line-up. Now a media report suggests that the complete variant list and seating options are out. However, the price of the higher-spec variants has not been revealed. Nevertheless, Mahindra is soon going to open the order books for the XUV700, revealing the prices on the SUV.

Mahindra XUV700 – Variants

When the Mahindra XUV700 made its debut in the Indian market, the brand revealed that the SUV will come in a dual trim concept. The XUV700 will come with an MX variant or an AX variant. So far the brand has revealed four trims – MX petrol and MX diesel as well as AX3 and AX5 variants. Now reports suggest that the Mahindra XUV700 will come with AX7, AX7C, AX7L, and AX7T. The C, L and T are likely to be ‘Comfort’, ‘Technology’, and ‘Luxury’ packs. Also, the brand will retail an AX7 AWD variant.

Mahindra XUV700 – Seating Options

The MX trim on both the petrol and diesel option comes with a 5-seater layout. The brand also does not offer an automatic gearbox option on the MX trim in the diesel avatar. The petrol model however comes with both manual and automatic options. The AX3 comes with 5-seater as well as 7-seater in the petrol manual, diesel manual and diesel automatic. But the petrol automatic comes with only a 5 seater option. The seating option on the AX5 trim is similar to the AX3 variant. All the AX7 models will come with a 7-seater option.

Mahindra XUV700 – Price

Currently, the price is available only for the base MX variant and AX3 and AX5 trims. The MX petrol starts at INR 11.99 ex-showroom. In the diesel avatar, the MX comes with a starting price tag of INR 12.49 lakh ex-showroom. The AX3 variant comes with a price starting at INR 13.99 lakh ex-showroom and the AX5 trim for INR 14.99 lakh ex-showroom, for the petrol engine option.
