Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the XUV700 Ebony Limited Edition in India, adding a bold and sophisticated variant to its popular SUV lineup. Priced from INR 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom), the Ebony Edition is available in the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L trims. The new variant aims to offer a premium SUV experience with a striking design and enhanced features.

Mahindra XUV700 Ebony – what’s new?

The XUV700 Ebony Edition stands out with its dual-tone black-and-silver theme. The exterior features a Stealth Black finish, complemented by brushed silver skid plates on the front and rear bumpers. Black-on-black grille inserts and blacked-out ORVMs create an imposing front profile. The SUV rides on 18-inch black alloy wheels, adding a refined touch to its overall stance. Ebony badges on the front fenders and tailgate further emphasize its exclusivity.

Inside, the Ebony Edition boasts a premium cabin with black leatherette upholstery and blacked-out trims. Silver accents on the center console and door panels provide a subtle contrast, while a light grey roof liner enhances the dual-tone theme. Dark-chrome air vents add to the luxurious feel of the interior. The feature set remains identical to the standard AX7 and AX7 L variants, including a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology.

Mahindra XUV700 Ebony – powertrain

The Ebony Edition is powered by the same engine options as the standard XUV700. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200 hp and a 2.2-litre diesel engine delivering 185 hp. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is available only in a front-wheel-drive configuration and a 7-seat layout.

Mahindra has positioned the Ebony Edition as a limited-run model, catering to customers who seek a distinctive and upscale SUV. The pricing for the AX7 petrol manual variant starts at INR 19.64 lakh, while the AX7 L diesel automatic variant is priced at INR 24.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
