Mahindra XUV700 crosses 1 lakh production milestone

Indian automaker Mahindra has achieved yet another new record. This time it is with the XUV700 SUV.  Recently, the carmaker rolled out the 1,00,000th unit of the XUV700 SUV from its production line. We first saw the model back when it was launched in 2021. And then the production and deliveries commenced in the following months. As it stands, XUV700 has been a very successful product. The SUV has received an overwhelming response from the customers. In fact, it also crossed the 90,000 unit sales mark in the country.

Engine And Gearbox Options

Under the hood, the XUV700 has two engine options. First is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and second is a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. The petrol motor comes mated to a six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Meanwhile, the diesel mill is available with two different power outputs. Both of these are available with a six-speed manual and automatic unit. Customers can also opt for an AWD system with higher variants with diesel engines. Unsurprisingly, all the powertrains are now compliant with the new BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission norms.

Key Features On Offer

Talking of the main highlights of the XUV700. We also get a long feature list. The SUV benefits from a slew of modern tech features. This includes an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, LED lighting, and six-way adjustable front seats with memory and welcome functions. The SUV also gets twin 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. The panoramic sunroof, further adds to the touch. Customers also get the convenience of an electronic parking brake. Then we also have cruise control, six airbags, drive modes, and a 12-speaker setup.

Updated Pricing For Mahindra XUV700

Last month only, Mahindra increased the prices of the XUV700. Thus, currently, it retails in the price range of INR 14 lakh to INR 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
