Mahindra has officially announced the prices for the XUV400. With this, the electric SUVs segment gets pretty much heated up. In this comparison, we take a look at the Mahindra XUV400 and MG ZS EV
The starting price for the Mahindra XUV400 starts at INR 15.99 lakh. Meanwhile for the ZS EV, the prices start at INR 22.98 lakh. XUV400 is available in two variants, namely, XUV400 EC and XUV400 EL. Meanwhile, the ZS EV too gets two trims, Excite and Exclusive.
As mentioned, XUV400 is available in two variants. These are XUV400 EL which gets a 39.4 kWh battery. Meanwhile, for the XUV400 EC it gets a 34.5 kWh battery. In terms of range, the XUV400 promises to deliver an anxiety-free range of 456 kilometres with the 39.4 kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, Mahindra claims 375 kilometres with a 34.5 kWh battery as per Indian driving cycle standards (MIDC).
For the 2022 MG ZS EV uses a 176 PS power electric motor capable of propelling the car from 0-100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The 2022 MG ZS EV gets a large 50.3 kWh, Advanced Battery Pack. The battery boasts of having the highest global safety ratings and comes with a claimed range of 461 km on a single charge
Mahindra offers the XUV400 with all the high-tech features. The top-spec version benefits from key features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Mahindra’s AdrenoX software, a single-pane sunroof and connected car technology with over-the-air (OTA) updates. The SUV also gets up to six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, an IP67 rating for the battery pack and ISOFIX anchorages as a safety kit.
Meanwhile, for the 2022 MG ZS EV, it comes with on-demand in-car services and subscriptions through CAAP (Car As A Platform). The MG ZS EV comes with a total of 75+ i-Smart Internet-Connected car features. Other key highlights include a leather layer dashboard, a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen, a 7-inch full-digital instrument cluster with an embedded LED screen and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
Customers of the Mahindra XUV400 get five exciting colour options to choose from. These are, namely, Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Infinity Blue with dual tone option of Satin Copper. The XUV400 also comes with a standard warranty of 3 years / unlimited kms. Additionally, the SUV also gets a warranty cover of 8 years or 160,000 kms (whichever is earlier) for the battery and motor.
Meanwhile, for the MG ZS EV customers, they have a total of 4 colour options to choose from. These are, namely, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Candy White. MG ZS EV too gets Unlimited Kilometres Warranty. Furthermore, it also gets 8 Years Or One Lakh Fifty Thousand Kilometres Warranty on the Battery.
