Mahindra is aiming to bring in a new version of the XUV300. This is a more significant update rather than a simple facelift. Recently, images surfaced of a test model. This appears as a completely new vehicle, but it is actually the XUV300 with substantial modifications.
Mahindra aims to give the XUV300 a fresh design. They are making changes to its sheet metal, rather than just updating some minor parts. The front profile seems to carry Mahindra’s recent BEV concepts. Thus featuring a new bonnet design, redesigned headlights with DRLs, a revised grille, and a new bumper design.
We believe that the alloy wheels will also receive a makeover. At the rear, the XUV300 will most likely carry a distinct tail light design, as indicated by the cutouts. The tailgate and rear bumper will also get a new look.
Considering the comprehensive exterior changes, we expect similar enhancements in the interior. This includes a new dashboard design, updated upholstery colors, and additional features.
The XUV300 facelift will retain its current engine options. These are namely, a 1.2-liter turbo petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel. It is possible that Mahindra will later reintroduce the XUV400 with these design changes.
The refreshed XUV300 is likely to make its way for a 2024 launch. It will take on the likes of popular models like the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet. With the SUV game getting stronger, customers now have a slew of options to choose from. With more options, customers are at the utmost benefit. The increase in competition is greatly beneficial for customers. With timely updates and upgrades, the SUV is getting at an substantial rate.
