Mahindra XUV300 price cut by up to INR 72,000

Mahindra has revised the price list on the XUV300 on both the petrol and diesel range of SUVs. The petrol-powered Mahindra XUV300 is now more affordable in the Indian market with prices reduced by up to INR 72,000 depending on the variant. The diesel variant prices have gone up ranging from INR 1000 to INR 20,000 but the top-spec W8 variants are now more affordable by INR 20,000 to INR 39,000 depending on the configuration. 

To begin with, the Mahindra XUV300 ‘W4’ petrol starts at INR 7.95 lakh which is INR 35,000 less than the old price. The W6 petrol trim is also priced INR 17,000 less than before and W8 and W8(O) are offered at INR 70,000 and INR 72,000 less than the old price. 

On the diesel powertrain option, the entry-level W4 diesel is now cost INR 1,000 more starting at INR 8.70 lakh, the W6 trim is INR 10,000 more than before and the Automatic variant on the W6 costs INR 20,000 more. Both the manual and automatic W8 diesel trims now cost INR 20,000 less than before. But, both the manual and automatic version of the W8(O) and W8(O) diesel trims cost INR 39,000 less than the old price. 

The Mahindra XUV300 is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 110 BHP of power and 200 Nm of torque coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox the sub-4-metre SUV also comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 115 BHP of power and 300 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional AMT.

The Mahindra XUV300 features highlights such as projector headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lamps, LED tail lamps, alloy wheels, heated ORVMs with integrated turn signal indicators, alloy wheels, sunroof, dual-zone air-conditioning system, dual-tone paint scheme, an advanced touchscreen infotainment system etc.

The Mahindra XUV300 also comes with a plethora of safety features such as 7 airbags, disc brakes on all 4 wheels, ABS & EBD, front parking sensors, Electronic Stability Program with Dynamic Steering Torque, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Roll-over Mitigation, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, ISOFIX child seat with top tether mounts. The Mahindra XUV300 received the coveted 5-star rating from Global NCAP and also received the Global NCAP’s ‘Safer Choice’ award for the safest car in India.
