Mahindra XEV 7e / XUV 700 Electric / XUV.e8 fully revealed in leaked images

Recent leaked images have revealed the production-spec model of Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUV: the XEV 7e or XUV.e8. These images appear to be a screen grab from a promo video of the upcoming eSUV.

What do the spy shots show?

The XEV 7e, previously known as the XUV.e8 in its concept form, features a striking design with triangular headlamp housing and full-width lighting. The front fascia closely resembles the recently launched XEV 9e, with inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights and a closed-off grille. The side profile showcases aerodynamically designed alloy wheels to reduce drag and improve efficiency.

The interior of the XEV 7e boasts a dual-tone black and white theme, with white leatherette seat upholstery. It includes a triple-screen setup with 12.3-inch digital displays for the driver’s display, infotainment system, and front passenger-side screen. Other features include multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and a premium audio system.

The XEV 7e shares many design elements with the XUV 700, including the window lines and LED tail lights. However, it features EV-specific changes such as the aerodynamic alloy wheels and a robust bumper section.

Mahindra XEV 7e Expected Powertrain

The new electric SUV is expected to offer two battery options, including a 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of around 650 km. The eSUV will also feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and up to 7 airbags for enhanced safety.

Mahindra has not yet disclosed the official launch timeline or pricing details, but the XEV 7e is anticipated to be priced around INR 21 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch is expected to take place later this year, and the SUVs will primarily rival the Tata Safari EV.
