Mahindra & Mahindra, the top SUV manufacturer in India, has announced price increases for both its SUV and commercial vehicle (CV) lineup, which will come into effect from January 2025. While stating the reason behind this hike, the company mentioned inflation and a rise in the commodity price, which ultimately affected input costing.
The hike of up to 3% will be imposed on all SUV’s current prices and below is the list for the same (Ex-Showroom) –
- XUV 3XO – Rs 7.8 lakh
- Bolero – Rs 9.8 lakh
- Bolero Neo: Rs 9.95 lakh
- Thar: Rs 11.35 lakh
- Bolero Neo Plus: Rs 11.4 lakh
- Thar Roxx: Rs 13 lakh
- Scorpio Classic: Rs 13.62 lakh
- Scorpio N: Rs 13.85 lakh
- XUV700: Rs 14 lakh
- Marazzo: Rs 14.6 lakh
- XUV400 EV: Rs 15.5 lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra sales in November:
Mahindra & Mahindra sold 79,083 cars in total in November. The company sold around 46,222 Utility cars in the home market, a 16 per cent increase, and exported 47,294 cars in total. In November, there were 22,042 commercial vehicle sales within the country.
BE 6 and XEV 9E:
The carmaker unveiled two brand-new electric models last week: BE 6 and XEV 9. The BE 6 is introduced at the starting price of INR 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom), and the XEV 9 is introduced at INR 21.9 Lakh (ex-showroom). The BE 6 comes in two battery pack options, 59 kWh and 79 kWh, and has a single motor that offers 281 bhp of power and 280 Nm of torque. The XEV 9 has a single motor 59 kWh battery pack that generates 228 bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque.
Further, BE 6 possesses features like C-shaped LED DRLs, Dual tone alloy wheels, black glossy body cladding, and an LED tailgate. In terms of safety features, it has ABS, EBD, ESP, auto park assist and a 360-degree camera.
On the other hand, XEV 9 has Triangular shaped LED headlamps, a Panoramic sunroof, 16 16-speaker music system, a Level 2 ADAS suite and automatic climate control. In the safety area, ABS, EBD, traction control and 360-degree camera.
