Mahindra sold 34,694 SUV’s in April 2023 with 57% growth

Mahindra, by the end of April 2023 has recorded sales of its overall auto segment at 62, 294 vehicles. In the UV segment alone, despite having a supply crunch due to crash sensors and airbag ECUs and the unavailability of semiconductors, Mahindra sold 34,694 vehicles. This marked a growth 57%. In the passenger vehicle segment, Mahindra sold 34,698 vehicles including UV’s, cars and vans. Compared to last year, Mahindra could not cope with the sales of cars and vans, hence seeing a massive decrease in sales by 99%.

Talking about Mahindra’s exports, the company recorded dispatch of 1,813 vehicles. In the commercial vehicle segment, the brand sold 20,231 vehicles in April 2023.

All-new Mahindra Bolero Maxx-Up

Mahindra recently launched the all-new Bolero Maxx pik-up truck which will ensure max safety, max technology, max performance, max design & comfort and lastly max profit. The new truck is now available in the City series and HD series. With the availability of 1.3 to 2.0-tonne payload capacities.

Bolero Maxx Pik-up’s engine produces 52.2 kW power with 200 Nm torque and 59.7 kW power with  220 Nm torque. The m2di engine comes with a 2-wheel-drive layout and will deliver 17.2 km/l mileage.

This new pickup truck is loaded with features like turn-safe headlights, LED tail lights, a digital driver display, D+2 seats with fabric cover, seat height adjustment and touchscreen infotainment. Along with iMAXX fleet management software you get 50 connected, safety and tracking features in over 6 languages.

Mahindra’s New Products

Mahindra has been on a roll when it comes to delivering hit products for the Indian market. All of their recent launches, the XUV700, Thar, Scorpio-N have been very well received by the buyers and there’s a long waiting period for each of these SUVs. Mahindra is now gearing up to launch the 5-door version of the Thar, which would increase the Thar’s appeal to those with larger families and seeking a conventional 5-door SUV.
