Mahindra and Mahindra has updated its sales report for January 2023. As from the figures, it seems January was a good month for Mahindra. The company reported positive growth in most segments.
Mahindra recently rebranded itself as an SUV maker. After rebranding, Mahindra has been getting significant sales. Specially in the SUV segment, Mahindra garnered significant sales. With the growing sales figure and rise in demand for SUV, the sales are increasing. that sense, utility vehicles accounted for the. The sales for utility vehicles stood at 32,915 units in total. This was a good 66 percent increase in year-over-year growth as opposed to 19,964 units sold in F22.
To date, the sales registered by UVs stood at 290,764 units in total. As opposed to 168,751 units YTD in F22 with 72 per cent growth YoY. Maximum sales came from Scorpio N, Scorpio Classic, Thar, XUV700, XUV300 and Bolero lineup.
Given the recent rebranding, non SUV sales like KUV100, eVerito and Marazzo don’t sell as much. In total, Mahindra’s total PV sales in the domestic market stood at 33,040 units. This figure translates to a 65 per cent YoY growth as opposed to just 19,964 units of F22.
With the demand for SUVs is running high, Mahindra is in much demand. With blockbuster hits like Thar, XUV700 and rest, Mahindra is making an empathic comeback. The total passenger vehicles sales YTD stood at 292,898 units in F23 with an overall growth of 72 per cent. Mahindra’s exports stood at 3,009 units. Sales shipped from India registered 5 per cent YoY growth. This figure is slightly better than Mahidnra’s 2,865 units for F22. Exports for YTD stood at 27,742 units in F23.
