Mahindra recently launched the much-anticipated Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market. The Mahindra XUV700 is sold in a dual trim concept and comes with an INR 11.99 lakh ex-showroom starting price tag. The brand retails the premium SUV in petrol and diesel engine options with both manual and automatic gearbox as well as 5-seat and 7-seat options. The entry-level MX trim has two models on offer – Petrol MT and Diesel MT. But the AdrenoX or AX trim has three options to choose from AX3, AX5 and AX7. Now Mahindra is further expanding the AX7 trim by adding the AX7 Luxury option.
Mahindra has launched the new AX7 Luxury in the diesel manual avatar at the price of INR 19.99 lakh ex-showroom. The top-spec AX7 Luxury in the diesel automatic transmission plus AWD (All-Wheel-Drive) comes with an INR 22.89 lakh ex-showroom price tag. Furthermore, Mahindra has revealed that the prices will be applicable for the first 25000 bookings. In addition to this, Mahindra announced that the brand would start accepting bookings on the 7th of October 2021 at 10 AM.

The Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Luxury comes with all the standard features as the AX7. In addition to that, the brand also equips the AX7 Luxury with an optional Luxury Pack. This includes features like Immersive 3D Sound by Sony, electrically deployed Smart Door Handles and Wireless Charging. The Luxury Pack also enhances the safety quotient of the car with features such as 360o Surround View, Blind View Monitoring, Electronic Park Brake, Driver Knee Airbag, Passive Keyless Entry and Continuous Digital Video Recording. It is also important to note that the model is only available in the 7-seat, three-row seating option.
Powering the XUV700 AX7 Luxury is a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. The oil motor produces 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque on the manual gearbox. On the automatic transmission variant, the engine makes 185 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque. The brand also offers a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine on the XUV700, but the option is not currently available on the AX7 Luxury variant.
