Mahindra has launched a new variant of their Jeeto mini-truck dubbed as Jeeto Plus priced at INR 3.46 lakh ex-showroom. The Jeeto Plus as the name suggests now has an increased payload capacity. The new variant has a payload capacity of 715 kg and cargo length of 7.4 feet. Mahindra claims that the Jeeto Plus will deliver the best-in-class mileage of 29.1 kmpl.
Powering the Mahindra Jeeto Plus is an mDura, direct injection diesel engine. This is a single-cylinder, 625cc, water-cooled motor producing 16 HP of peak power and 38 Nm of max torque matched to a 4-speed gearbox. The Jeeto Plus has a fuel tank capacity of 10.5L. The cargo loading area of the Jeeto Plus measures 2257mm in length, 1493mm in width and 300mm in height. The mini-truck overall measures 3876mm in length, 1498mm in width and 1750mm in height with a wheelbase of 2500mm. The Jeeto Plus has a single-cab design and can seat the driver + 1 passenger.
Mahindra is offering a 3 year / 72,000 km warranty on the Jeeto Plus. Mahindra claims that the Jeeto Plus will have lower operating costs compared to competition, and with the 30% more mileage, it would help in profitability. This model will be sold in 4 colours including red, blue, white and beige.
