Mahindra has finally launched the TUV300 Plus in the Indian market. This is just a longer version of the TUV300, and the TUV300 Plus is priced at INR 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Mahindra has positioned the TUV300 Plus as a 9-seater SUV for the Indian market. This model is available in P4, P6 & P8 trim levels and can be bought in silver, white, black, red & orange colour options. The Mahindra TUV300 was first launched in September 2015 and has managed to sell over 80,000 units till now.
Powering the TUV300 Plus is a 2.2L, turbocharged mHawk D120 motor producing 120 BHP of peak power & 280 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine comes with Eco mode & micro hybrid technology as well. The TUV300 Plus is a rear wheel drive vehicle. It also benefits from Brake Energy Regeneration.
The SUV measures 4400mm in length, 1835mm in width, 1812mm in height and runs on 16″ alloy wheels. If you do not need all the 9-seat layout, you can fold down the seats in the 3rd row for a massive luggage area.
Inside, you get a 17.8cm touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, 4+2 speaker system, climate control, reverse park assist and the likes.
For satety, the TUV300 Plus comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD.
