Mahindra Auto has released its sales report for March 2023. The sales figure stood at 35,976 vehicles, which is its highest ever. With a growth of 31 per cent, Mahindra Auto is making an emphatic comeback. The carmaker also garnered the highest-ever annual sales for its SUVs. The sales figure stood at 356,961 units. With this sales figure it translates to a growth of 60 per cent.
In the Passenger Vehicle segment that includes UVs, Cars and Vans, Mahindra Auto posted a total sales of 35,997 units. This translates to a growth of 30 per cent in March 2023. The recorded annual sale for the given period stood at 359,253 vehicles resulting in a growth of 59 per cent.
Commercial Vehicle Segment Sales On The Rise
The Commercial Vehicle segment too recorded a total sales of 22,282 vehicles in March 2023. This translates to a growth of 12 per cent. The annual sale of the Commercial Vehicle segment stood at 2,48,576 vehicles hence putting up a growth of 40 per cent. The Light Commercial Vehicle which includes the range from 2 – 3.5 tonnes segment too recorded its highest-ever annual sales.
The total sales figure stood at 1,98,121 units in FY23. Mahindra Truck and Bus Division which comes under Light Commercial Vehicle greater than 3.5T + MHCV, also put on decent numbers. The company posted a total sales of 1,469 units in March 2023. This translates to a growth of 77 per cent and an annual sale of 10,036 units with a growth of 56 per cent.
Export Figures For Mahindra Auto
Exports for the month of March 2023 stood at 2,115 vehicles. Meanwhile, the company sold a total of 5,697 units of 3-wheelers in March 2023. Mahindra closed the year with a growth of 50 per cent for the Auto Sector on an annual basis. In fact, it also posted its highest-ever numbers, in almost all segments of the business.
