Nissan sold 10,519 cars in March 2023

Nissan India has released its sales report for March 2023. The carmaker posted a 23 per cent growth. The total wholesale figure stood at 94,219 units for FY2022-23. This sales figure includes domestic sales of 33,611 units and export figure of 60,608 units. This is over the course of the financial year. As for monthly sales, i.e., March 2023 sales tally, the Japanese carmaker sold a total of 10,519 units. This consists of 3,260 units for the domestic market and an export volume of 7,259 units. This results in an overall wholesale growth of 31 per cent on a year-over-year basis. As for the brand it sold a total of 3,007 units in the country while exporting 4,976 units in March 2022.

Sales Growth For Nissan India Growing Strong

For the financial year 2022-23, Nissan mentioned that it was a challenging year. This was the case for both Nissan as well as for the auto industry. The challenges are coming in for the shortage of semiconductors and also the inflation affecting the cost of ownership. With all of this, Nissan delivered a strong performance on these challenges. The carmaker posted a growth of 23 per cent with a volume of 94,219 units. With the strength of growth in export sales and sustained domestic sales, Nissan is growing significantly.

Nissan has also taken several measures to improve customer connection. This includes strengthening supply chains to meet delivery commitments. This is because Nissan has always kept customer-centricity as the core of its business.

Nissan Indian And The Road Ahead

They are achieving this by continuously adapting and innovating to customer requirements. Nissan recently also showcased three premium SUVs from its global portfolio for the Indian market. As it stands, some models are currently undergoing local suitability tests. And there are chances that the X-Trail could arrive in the Indian market very soon.
