Made-in-India TVS Raider motorcycle now in Nepal for the Gen Z

The global manufacturer of two and three-wheelers, TVS Motor Company, has unveiled its latest TVS raider for young customers in Nepal. TVS offers the 125cc bike with first-in-class features such as an LCD digital speedometer and a 3V i-Touch Start system. Other notable features include new animal-inspired LED headlamps and a segment-first, under-seat storage. TVS offers the Raider in two variants, namely ‘Drum’ and ‘Disc’. Prices start at INR 77,500 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the ‘Drum’ variant and INR 88,469 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the ‘Disc’.

2021 TVS Raider: Design and Colors 

TVS has utilized a unique and bold, macho personality design theme for the new Raider along with a unique logo. The fuel tank sports a strong and sculpted design along with the bike featuring a sporty, compact, and agile profile. Since it’s targeted towards the Gen Z youth for their everyday use, TVS offers a range of youthful colour options.

These include Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black, and Fiery Yellow. TVS has developed the ergonomics of the Raider with a distinct focus on rider comfort and convenience. TVS has ensured to offer the Raider with a low seat height, long wheelbase, focussed ergonomics, and a distinctive exhaust note. Completing the design are the LED headlamp and tail lamp. 

2021 TVS Raider: Technical Specs and Features 

Powering the Raider is a 124.8cc, 3V engine producing 12.9 PS of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. Thanks to the air and oil-cooled motor, the bike showcases a 0-60 kph time of 5.7 seconds. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, the bike sports a gas-charged, 5-step adjustable, low-friction, front mono-shock suspension for comfort and handling. Along with split seats for the rider and pillion, TVS offers the Raider with 17-inch wide tires.

TVS offers the Raider with a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm Synchro SBT rear brake for braking performance. In terms of features, the Raider sports a Reverse LCD digital speedometer which provides detailed information to the rider. The bike also offers a switch cluster, footpegs, and segment-first under-seat storage for the rider’s essential needs. Other notable features on offer are the helmet reminder and the USB charger to provide a complete and fulfilling experience.
