Made-in-India Nissan Magnite will be exported to 65+ international markets

Nissan Motor has started exporting its newly launched, the New Nissan Magnite to South Africa, making it the first country to get the newly launched Nissan car. 

Within a month of the Nissan Magnite SUV’s debut in India, more than 2700 units were exported from the Chennai port. The cumulative sales of over 150,000+ units to till date had made a significant influence on both Indian and foreign markets. The New Nissan Magnite continues to be a monument to Nissan motor’s strong belief of ‘One car, One world’ philosophy. Further, looking at the ongoing demand of the “Made-in-India” Magnite in global markets, Nissan plans to increase its overall exportation to more than 65 international markets, including those with left-hand drive markets.

 

Nissan Magnite South Africa Model Powertrain:

Nissan Magnite which is introduced in South Africa comes in two engine options: 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine and 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Turbocharged petrol engine gives out the power of 100 PS and a torque of 160 Nm for MT and 152 Nm for CVT. Whereas, the naturally aspirated petrol engine generates the power of 72 PS and a torque of 96 Nm. 

The NA petrol engine has a 5 speed transmission for both MT and AMT. Similarly, the turbo petrol engine gets a 5 speed transmission for MT and CVT.  South Africa is offered with three variant options: Visia, Acenta and Acenta +, however, India gets 6 variant options: Visia, Visia +, Tekna, Tekna +, Acenta and N-connecta. 

 

 

Nissan Magnite Features:

The Nissan Magnite for South Africa gets 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels, LED lighting unit, dual C shaped chrome bars, huge grille along with black surrounds. It also gets a dual themed, black and brown leatherette seat upholstery, ambience light, 7 inch driver display and 8 inch touch screen, wireless mobile charger, cooled glove box compartment and a remote engine start function.

Safety Features:

It also has safety features like ABS with EBD (Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ​​rear parking sensors along with the camera, hill start assist, traction control along with tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and 6 airbags
