Limited-Edition Jeep Compass ‘Night Eagle’ to launch soon in India

Jeep India has announced that the brand will be launching the first global limited-edition model of the Jeep compass soon in the Indian market. The limited-edition model is called the Jeep Compass ‘Night Eagle’. The Jeep Compass Night Eagle is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. 

The Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition is based on the mid-spec Longitude Plus trim and features all the styling details from the standard edition car along with add-ons such as black chrome accents and gloss wheels that enhance the exterior as well as dark themed interiors with premium details. 

In the international market, the Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition comes in six monochrome colour options along with 5 twin-tone options with black roof. The Jeep Compass Night Eagle features a gloss black grille, gloss black badging with Night Eagle badge, 18-inch gloss black finished alloy wheels, dark themed window-line etc. 

On the inside, the dark theme continues and the Night Eagle features an all-black dashboard with piano black trim around the infotainment system, the air-con vents and the central transmission tunnel around the gear selector. The Night Eagle version also comes with cloth and techno leather seats with black stitching and vinyl bolsters. 

The infotainment is an 8.4-inch touchscreen unit with Uconnect technology with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Compass Eagle Edition also comes with dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, push-button start/stop and a plethora of safety features such as Airbags, ABS+EBD, ESP, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist etc. 

The internationally revealed 2021 Jeep Compass is powered by a new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 130 Hp or 150 Hp of power depending on the gearbox maximising fuel-efficiency, ensuring lower CO2 emissions as well as both on-road & off-road performance. Alternatively, an updated 1.6-litre MultiJet II diesel engine with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) producing 120 Hp of power is also on offer. 

But the Jeep Compass in the Indian market is expected to come with 1.4 MultiAir Turbo-Petrol 4-cylinder engine that makes 165 Hp of power and 250 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and a 2.0 MultiJet II Turbo-Diesel engine that puts out 173 PS of power 350 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. 

The Jeep Compass Night Eagle is expected to demand a premium over the Longitude Plus variant trim.
