The new ES EV
The ES EV lineup includes the ES 350e and ES 550e, offering front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, respectively. The ES 350e produces 224 hp and delivers a range of up to 685 km, while the ES 550e generates 342 hp with a range of 610 km. Lexus has not disclosed the battery capacity, but reports suggest it may borrow the 77 kWh pack from the RZ SUV.

The new ES Hybrid
For hybrid enthusiasts, the ES continues to offer the ES 300h and ES 350h, powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an eCVT transmission. The ES 300h produces 197 hp, while the ES 350h delivers 247 hp, with improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
Lexus ES range – features
The new ES features a redesigned exterior, inspired by Lexus’ LF-ZC concept. The signature spindle grille has been replaced with a sleeker front-end design, complemented by L-shaped LED headlights and a connected LED tail-light bar. The sedan also sports electrically operated door handles and aerodynamic alloy wheels, available in sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches.
Inside, the ES boasts a minimalist dashboard with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The cabin is designed for maximum comfort, featuring wireless charging, a Mark Levinson sound system, and rear reclining seats with an ottoman function.
Safety and competition
Safety remains a priority, with the ES equipped with Lexus Safety System+, offering adaptive cruise control, pre-collision safety, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure assist.
The ES is expected to compete with luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series, offering a compelling mix of performance, technology, and sustainability.
