Lexus begins RX500h deliveries in India, 1 year after launch

Lexus has commenced deliveries on the RX500h mid-size SUV in the Indian market. The brand launched the Lexus RX series in India in April last year. Now the brand has begun delivering the RX500h F Sport variant. The Lexus RX500h F Sport+ comes with a price tag of 1.18 Crore ex-showroom. Even though the deliveries have commenced almost a year later than its launch, the price still remains unchanged.

Lexus RX500h F Sport+ – Design and Features

The Lexus RX500h F Sport+ comes with a sporty body kit and styling compared to the RX350h variant. The front bumper on the RX500h features larger air intakes and the car also comes with piano black styling. The Lexus RX500h also comes with 21-inch alloy wheels with a distinctive design. However, on the inside both the RX models come with similar styling.

The RX500h F Sport+ comes with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Connected Car features. The SUV also comes with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wireless Phone Charging and electronic door latch. In addition to this the RX500h features 7 airbags and radar based cruise control with anti collision warning system.

Lexus RX500h F Sport+ – Technical Specifications

Powering the Lexus RX500h F Sport is a 2.4-litre in-line four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The DOHC motor with Dual VVT-i produces 371 Hp of power and 460 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The engine also features a 64 kW front and 76 kW rear e-motor that is capable of propelling the car along with the ICE to a top speed of 210 kmph and 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. The RX500h F Sport also comes with rear wheel steering. The SUV measures 4890mm in length, 1920mm in width, 1695mm in height and 2850mm of wheelbase. The 5-seater SUV comes with a boot space of 612-litres and weighs 2750 kgs.
