Lectrix EV plans 300 dealerships by mid-2023

Lectrix EV has announced its plans for the future. The company aims to expand its network in India by adding 300 dealerships by mid-2023. The two-wheeler EV company started operations earlier this year. Currently, it has a network of more than 50 dealers spread across 14 states in the country. This includes Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Lectric Expanding Its Dealership Network Aggressively

Last month only, Lectrix EV onboarded around 60 of these dealerships to its network. This reflects upon the company’s plans of aggressively increasing touchpoints in the country. The company is focusing more on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the country. This is an effort to drive EV adoption by providing safe and reliable electric two-wheelers. Very recently, the electric two-wheeler brand opened two dealerships in Pune. This was then followed by the inauguration of dealerships in Mumbai and Keonjhar, Odisha.

The Road Ahead For Lectrix

Lectrix vision’s is to provide consumers with reliable electric scooters. The aim is to drive EV adoption in the country and thus an extensive dealership network is imperative to achieving this objective. Lectrix EV’s dealerships have come up at strategic locations across the country. A wide dealership network will provide consumers with easy access to Lectrix EV’s product portfolio. These dealerships will house service centres to provide consumers with a hassle-free ownership experience.

The Target For 2023

Lectrix has been stressing that dealership expansion directly impacts service delivery and quality. Hence, it is an important part of gaining consumer confidence in EVs. Setting up physical touchpoints will help Lectrix build bridges with customers. Furthermore, the dealership will also provide customers with hassle-free services. The next plan is to increase the footprint to around 60 cities in a month. The long-term target is to have 350 dealerships in India by mid-2023.
