LEAKED! TVS Ronin 225 motorcycle, coming soon

We know that TVS will be launching the Ronin on 6th July 2022. And now, two days ago the launch, images of the bike have surfaced online. From the looks of it, the images seem to be from the motorcycle’s brochure. The images give us a good look at the look and features of the Ronin before its official unveiling.

TVS Ronin 225 Leaks – What Do We Get To See?

At first glance, the Ronin looks like somewhere in between a scrambler and a cafe racer. We already knew the bike would sport a circular LED headlight with a T-shaped DRL from previous leaks. However, we now get to see much more of the bike than just its headlight. The Ronin gets a teardrop-shaped tank and a flat side panel below the seat. It also gets an exposed subframe with a tubular grab-rail at the end. Other highlights include a dual-tone paint job, belly pan and a blacked-out engine. Meanwhile, the side-slung exhaust is also on the larger side and features a silver-finished tip.

The bike seems to sport a new chassis suspended by gold-coloured upside-down forks and a monoshock at the rear. The Ronin sports disc brakes on both ends and will likely also get a dual-channel ABS. It rides on multi-spoke alloy wheels shod on dual-purpose tyres. The Ronin will probably use an all-new 225cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine.

As for features, the Ronin seems to sport a round instrument cluster. It is highly likely that the Ronin will feature the Smart Xonnect Bluetooth connectivity. This will allow the system to display incoming calls and messages and turn-by-turn navigation.

TVS Ronin 225 – Launch Date & Expected Price

As we mentioned earlier, TVS will launch the motorcycle on 6th July 2022. Bookings for the Ronin will likely open right after the launch. Looking at the features on offer, TVS will likely position it between the Apache RTR and RR range. Thus, pricing will likely be around the INR 2 lakh to INR 2.2 lakh range.
