Launch of Hyundai CRETA N Line in India on March 11, 2024

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. will reportedly launch the much-anticipated Hyundai Creta N Line in India on March 11. The sportier version of the popular Hyundai Creta, the N Line, is expected to offer a new level of excitement for car enthusiasts across the country. This will be Hyundai’s third product under the N-Line badge, followed by the i20 and the Venue.

Engine and Performance

The Hyundai Creta N Line will be powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which delivers a power output of 160 hp and a torque of 253 Nm. The vehicle will be offered with two gearbox options – a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual transmission. The same engine is also available with the Creta Turbo.

What’s Different?

The Creta N Line distinguishes itself from the regular SUV with a revised front featuring split-LED headlights, a smaller grille, and a chunkier bumper. Notable additions include red skirting, larger 18-inch N Line-specific alloy wheels sporting red brake calipers, and a sportier-looking and grunty dual-tip exhaust.

The interior of the Creta N Line will feature an all-black theme with red accents on the central infotainment display, dashboard, and contrast red stitching on both the gear lever and upholstery. The N Line-specific steering wheel and gear knob/gear selector is also included in the package. Like the other N line variants, the Creta too is expected to get sport pedals. We can also expect a sportier suspension setup.

Features and Safety

The Creta N Line is based on the higher variants of the regular SUV. It is likely to come with the same dual 10.25-inch displays (one for instrumentation and the other for infotainment), dual-zone AC, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats. Its safety kit is expected to include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Hyundai Creta N Line is expected to offer a unique blend of performance and style, making it a compelling choice for customers looking for a sportier SUV. The Sporty variant of the Creta is expected to arrive in dealerships in the second half of March after a price announcement on the 11th of the same month. We can expect the bookings to be opened by the end of Feb’24.
