According to a media report, Lamborghini is likely to retain the V12 engine despite the tightening emission norms. Reports reveal that the Italian supercar manufacturer will continue to use the iconic V12 engine as long as possible. In addition to this, the brand is also likely to explore synthetic fuels to power the V12 engine.

Lamborghini wants to retain the engines because of its legacy that the brand enjoys since its inception. Furthermore, the brand would not want to recreate the engine sound as the brand values authenticity. Also, since the launch of the Urus SUV, the brand has also noticed that a lot of its customers started buying the rest of its range.

Lamborghini’s Future – Is It Electric?

In the near future, the brand will also be renewing its range of vehicles. Reports reveal that the Italian brand will be having “the strongest line-up in Lamborghini’s history”. Also, media reports reveal that Lamborghini will also soon introduce the successor of the Huracan which comes with a V10 engine.

Furthermore, the Huracan is likely to come with plenty of unique selling points, which is likely to surprise many, revealed reports. Even since the retirement of the Aventador the Huracan still attracts good numbers especially with the Sterrato, STO and the Technica.

Lamborghini Lanzador

The brand also revealed that the replacement of the Huracan will be christened Lanzador. Furthermore, the Lanzador is likely to be a four seater, all-electric hyper GT. The electric car is likely to come with Lamborghini’s driving dynamics, however, the brand has not yet revealed if the all-electric GT will have the same exhaust note as its V12 cars, artificial of course. But as the brand earlier revealed that it would like to stick to authenticity and therefore a replica exhaust not is quite unlikely. According to the company, the Lanzador is likely arrive by 2027.
