Lamborghini has revealed the new Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. The Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae is the final celebratory edition for the model. The brand has announced that the Ultimae will be the last of its kind, celebrating the iconic V12 super sports car. Lamborghini will be concentrating all the purest features of all the Aventador models into one for the perfect finale. The Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae will be available in Coupe and Roadster trims and comes with the elegance of the Aventador S and the performance from the SVJ. This makes the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae the “ultimate” collector’s item.
Powering the Lamborghini Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae will be a 6.5-litre V12-cylinder ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’ (LP) engine. The engine produces 780 PS of power, 10 PS more than the SVJ and 40 PS more than the Aventador S, bringing the grand finale moment to the celebratory model. The power unit can generate 720 Nm of twisting force and comes with a weight-to-power ratio of 1.98kg/PS. The supercar comes with an ISR 7-speed shifting system that can shift gears in 50 milliseconds.
The Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae comes with an extremely rigid and lightweight carbon fibre monocoque. The carbon fibre fittings also extend throughout the vehicle’s body, leading to a dry weight of just 1,550 kg. The coupe version weighs 25 kg less than the Aventador S and is able to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. The supercar can also achieve a top speed of 355 kmph. The LP780-4 Ultimae is also able to stop from 100 kmph to Zero in just 30 metres thanks to the CCB braking system. The Ultimae also comes with four-wheel steering and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS).
The car will be available in Blu Tawaret and Blu Nethuns with the roof panels in high gloss black carbon fibre. The Ultimae will come with 20 and 21-inch alloy wheels in Silver Dianthus as standard. As an option, the car comes with 20/21-inch Dianthus, Leiron and Nireo in bronze, black and titanium. On the inside, the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae comes with black leather and Alcantara trim. The car also gets ‘Y’ seat inserts in black Alcantara and the ‘Ultimae’ name embroidered into the seat bolster. Customers can also play with the infinite spectrum of options through Lamborghini Ad Personam.
The Ultimae gets a customisable TFT digital dashboard, along with Apple CarPlay, Lamborghini telemetry system. The car also features STRADA, SPORT and CORSA dynamic driving modes. But Lamborghini also offers the EGO mode where the user can customise the parameters for optimum set-up on the Lamborghini active suspension (LMS), traction control etc.
