Performance car manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the new Urus SE in the Indian market at the price of INR 4.57 Crore ex-showroom. The Urus SE performance SUV made its debut in the international market in April and has now arrived to India.
The Lamborghini Urus SE is the brand’s latest SUV which features the latest updates to its exteriors as well as its interiors. On the outside, the Urus SE comes with slimmer LED headlamps and a new light signature. The front and rear bumpers are also new, which now get a black insert. The car also comes with a new bonnet and a new taillight grille along with new design alloy wheels.
On the inside, the SUV gets a new dashboard which features new air conditioning vents and more physical buttons on the centre console. The driver’s display also comes with redesigned HMI graphics and the central infotainment screen is now 2.2-inch wider than the old. The Lamborghini Urus SE also comes with new aluminium and black inserts on the dashboard mid pad and new colours and trim are on offer.
Powering the Lamborghini Urus SE is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a 25.9 kW battery pack powering a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with a centre hang-on differential and a rear e-differential. The V8 engine combined with the hybrid setup is able to produce 800 PS of power which is capable of propelling the large SUV from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 312 kmph. The ICE+EV Urus SE is also capable of driving in pure EV mode for around 60 km.
Lamborghini has also worked on the Urus SE in the aerodynamics department. The SUV comes with a new aero lip and a diffuser which is designed to bring stability at high speed by adding 35% to the downforce. The brand has also added new air vents and ducts to add to the thermal efficiency of the demanding V8 and electric setup. The brand claims that the cooling performance has been increased by 15%. The high performance braking setup also gets a new cooling concept which enhances the cooling by 30% and thus offers an increased consistency during high performance braking sessions.
