Lamborghini Huracan spotted at an Indian airport

The Lamborghini Huracan is expected to make its debut in the Indian market by September 2014. However, much ahead of this schedule, the supercar has been spotted at an Indian airport, most probably at the Mumbai airport.

The latest offering from Lamborghini, the Huracan made its global premiere at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini had revealed that the car will be officially launched here in September and the prices would be in the bracket of Rs. 3 – 3.5 Crore.

The Huracan is a successor to one of the hottest selling Lamborghini’s — the Gallardo. It is built on a new lightweight platform with a mix of carbon fibre along with aluminium to ensure it has a low kerb weight. The car carries forward the Gallardo’s engine, but in a different state of tune. The 5.2L, V10 now gets direct and indirect injection pumping out 610 BHP of power and 560 Nm of torque.

0 – 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds, 0 – 200 kmph in 9.9 seconds and a claimed top speed of 325 kmph will surely have enthusiasts longing for the Huracan to hit the Indian streets.
