All is not well at the Renault-Nissan production facility in Chennai.
Laying off almost 200 trainees has lead to a labour unrest and members of the Aam Admi Party are protesting against this move outside the Japanese consulate.
Terminated employees have already filed a petition under section 2A of the Industrial Disputes Act. A meeting will be organised on January 12, 2015 to discuss this issue further.
