KTM launches RC125 at INR 1,47,213

In recent news, we reported that KTM has teased us with the silhouette of the RC 125 motorcycle and we expect the brand will launch the bike soon. Its good news for KTM fanboys as KTM has launched the RC 125 ABS in the Indian market today at the price of INR 1.47 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Bookings have commenced today with 472 exclusive KTM dealerships across the country with deliveries starting from the end of June.

The design is inspired by the KTM RC16 supersport motorcycle from the MotoGP and the RC 125 is ‘ready to race’.

The motorcycle gets a host of features such as twin projector headlights, daytime running lights and a sleek LED taillights. A fully digital instrument console that shows a plethora of information including, average speed, time, distance to empty, service information, etc. The KTM RC 125 will come in two colour options.

The engine powering the KTM RC 125 is a 124.7cc single-cylinder DOHC engine with liquid-cooling and fuel injection. The motor produces 14.5 PS of power @ 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque @ 8000 RPM coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

The mechanical hardware on the motorcycle consists of a steel trellis frame, a triple-clamp handlebar, 43mm upside-down front fork from WP, a 10-step adjustable rear monoshock, 300mm single hydraulically operated disc brakes on the front and a 230mm unit on the rear equipped with a single channel Bosch ABS.
