KTM launches 250 Adventure V low-seat variant at INR 2.47 lakh

KTM has introduced the 250 Adventure V in the Indian market. The V variant is nothing but a low-seat configuration, keeping all other features the same. The Austrian bike maker has priced the 250 Adventure V at INR 2.47 lakh. This is the same as the regular non-V variant.

Updates to the KTM 250 Adventure V

Just like the bike’s larger sibling, the KTM 390 Adventure, the baby KTM too received the V version. This low-seat V variant is priced the same as the standard bike.

While the regular 250 Adventure gets a 855 mm seat height, the V comes with a lower 834 mm seat height. Many would consider the 855 mm height to be pretty high. Hence the 834 mm version will cater to the audience who prefer a lower seat height. The lower seat height has been achieved by using different suspension bits. These components have a lower travel than the regular version.

One side effect of this is the fact that the ground clearance of the bike has been slightly reduced. That said, according to KTM, this is not very significant that the riders would notice it.

The main takeaway is the low-seat-height version of the 250 Adventure. As we can see, KTM has not compromised in terms of any features. The motorcycle comes loaded with all the bells and whistles that we get on the usual model.

Apart from this, there are no changes in the V and regular 250 Adventure.

Powertrain of the KTM 250 Adventure V

The KTM 250 Adventure V comes with a 249cc single cylinder engine. This liquid cooled motor develops 30 HP @ 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. Riders also get an option to disable the rear wheel ABS for better off-roading.

KTM’s new 390 Adventure launched

KTM India has recently updated its product portfolio. The 390 Adventure portfolio received some updates. The Austrian two-wheeler maker introduced new variants across a wide price spectrum. This means that the KTM 390 Adventure will soon face massive competition from the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
