KTM India has revised the pricing for its RC and Adventure range in India. The increase in price is a result of increased commodity prices. The price hike ranges from INR 1,472 to INR 2,096. However, this price hike does not affect the newly launched 2022 RC 390 and 2022 390 Adventure.
Price Hike Details
The models from the RC range that get a price hike are the RC 125 and RC 200. And from the Adventure range, the 250 Adventure. The KTM 250 Adventure gets the biggest price hike of INR 2,096 and now costs INR 2,42,106 ex-showroom. Next is the RC 125, which gets a price hike of INR 1,600 and will now cost INR 1,86,261 ex-showroom. Lastly, the RC 200’s prices see an increase of INR 1,472. The new price for the RC 200 is INR 2,13,261 ex-showroom.
The 2022 RC 390 does not get a price hike since its launch. However, the model is much more expensive. For reference, the previous RC 390 cost about INR 2.7 lakh ex-showroom. The new 2022 model sees an increase of around INR 44,000. The 2022 RC 390 now retails at INR 3,13,922. However, the price bump for the new model also brings all-new styling and a host of other improvements.
The 2022 390 Adventure, on the other hand, costs INR 3,34,895 ex-showroom. The 390 Adventure does not get as comprehensive an upgrade as the RC. Hence, compared to the previous model year, it gets a marginal price hike of INR 6,000.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure – Powertrain
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure features a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It also gets twin overhead camshafts, four valves and electronic fuel injection. The engine is known for its performance and its mid-range torque. The power and torque figures for the model are 43.5 PS and 37 Nm. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit with a slip and assist clutch. Additionally, for clutchless up and downshifts, it also features a bi-directional quickshifter.
