KTM 390 Enduro R complete details
KTM has expanded its portfolio of performance motorcycles in India with the new launch of the 390 Enduro R. It is a global model that is recognized among enthusiasts as a potent off-road motorcycle.
While the launch price for the Enduro R is Rs 3,36,500 (ex-showroom), it is Rs 30,000 cheaper than the new 390 Adventure motorcycle. Additionally, its dirt-bike-inspired design and slimmer body are 6 kg lighter than the Adventure 390.
The one major difference between the Indian-spec model and the global model is the suspension setup. The WP Apex USD forks at the front provide 200 mm of travel, while the monoshock at the rear provides 205 mm of travel.
Meanwhile, the global-spec model is offered with 230 mm of suspension travel on both ends. Since the bike was introduced recently, it got an immediate backlash from KTM fans regarding the suspension indifference. Hence, KTM has now promised to launch the global-spec model soon.
Powering the 390 Enduro R is the new 399cc LC4 liquid-cooled engine that generates 43.5 bhp and 39 Nm of peak power and torque. Additionally, KTM has fitted a 48-teeth rear sprocket on the Enduro R to provide it better low-end torque and response.

Our verdict
The Enduro R is a well-suited option for customers looking for a fun-to-ride off-road motorcycle. However, it might not be very well equipped; it is its long-travel suspension and engine power that make it a great off-road bike.
