KTM 250 Duke goes dark, new black colour variant

KTM has launched the new 250 Duke in the Indian market with a new colourway. The motorcycle has also been upgraded in the electronics department and gets new LED DRLs and instruments cluster. The new 250 Duke now comes with an Ebony Black colour option. Thanks to this, dark colour enthusiasts will get a new option, the new black colour variant. Earlier, the 250 Duke was available with 3 options – Ceramic White, Electric Orange and Atlantic Blue.

New Colour

The new KTM 250 Duke with the Ebony Black colour features a black on black theme. The chassis and subframe are both finished in black. The body also comes with a black colour and gets graphics in black finish. Also, the black finish bike comes with an Orange shadows for the 250 badging on the side. The motorcycle also comes with gloss black rims offering a stealthy look.

New Display

In addition to this, Earlier, the motorcycle was also available with a monochrome display which has now been upgraded to a 5-inch TFT instruments display. The display offers features such as headset pairing, track screen as well as navigation. The full colour TFT display also offers a more premium look on the quarter-liter motorcycle. The bike also gets LED DRLs and headlamps similar to the 390 Duke however, the tank extensions are smaller than the elder sibling.

Engine

Powering the KTM 250 Duke is the same 250cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine that produces 31 Hp of power and 25 Nm and torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets a steel trellis frame and an aluminium subframe that rides on upside down front fork suspension and a mono shock on the rear. The 250 Duke gets 15-litres of fuel tank capacity and weighs 163 kgs at the kerb. The motorcycle also gets disc brakes on both ends with ABS and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
