Komaki, one of the leading electric vehicle manufacturers in the country, added its 300th dealership in the country. The company mentioned that it has witnessed an impressive sales count since the last fiscal year. Given the current rising demand for electric vehicles in the country, this is not a surprise. With the growing sentiments for environmental concerns, people these days are more than inclined towards buying emission-free electric vehicles. Komaki has already sold over 21,000 units of electric vehicles in the first half of 2021.
The rising demand for electric vehicles is being witnessed in almost every state. Komaki already had its presence in New Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. And now Komaki has made its presence in Madhya Pradesh as well. The 300th dealership has come up in Vidisha City, MP. The showroom is spread across 2,5000 sq. feet and showcases all of Komaki’s range of products. This new dealership has already witnessed bookings of 250 electric vehicles. Before this, Komaki had opened its dealership in New Delhi. An electric vehicle manufacturer has confirmed that the sales in the national capital showroom have already crossed triple digits.
The rise in fuel prices is also a critical factor in propelling the demand for electric vehicles in the country. In addition to this, various state governments and the central government provide lucrative subsidies and incentives. This also favours the customers, who are more than willing to prefer an electric vehicle over a traditional ICE powered vehicle. Electric vehicles are economical, easy to maintain, and the running cost is very low. But, one area where electric vehicles are far behind is the availability of charging stations. But, this too is rapidly expanding, as more and more electric vehicle companies are entering this segment.
