After the launch of the Ranger and Venice this year, Komaki will soon bring two new products. The two new electric scooters are – DT 3000 and LY. These will be Komaki’s third and fourth EV products for this year. This depicts Komaki’s commitment to R&D activities, production capacity and prompt response to the ever-changing market demands.
The Director of Komaki Electric Division said the overwhelming response from the customers shows trust in the company’s green and sustainable mobility solutions. The all-new Komaki DT 3000 and LY will also be the seventh and eighth models in the registered high-speed model lineup. Some of the unique features of the new EVs include a self-diagnosis instrument, disc brakes, cruise control, reverse assist, mobile charging point, etc.
Komaki DT 3000 – Highlights
Powering the Komaki DT 3000 is a robust 3000 Watt BLDC motor. The battery of the scooter is the advanced patented lithium battery of 62V52AH. The battery is an example of Komaki’s excellence in EV innovations, far ahead of the market’s expectations. The DT 3000 also goes about 180-220 km on a single charge. The top speed of the DT 3000 is 80 kmph. The electric scooter also gets an all-new look and is available in four colours. The colour options are – Metal Grey, Translucent Blue, Bright Red and Jet Black. The Komaki DT 3000 pricing starts from INR 1,22,500 ex-showroom.
Komaki LY – Highlights
The highlight of the Komaki LY will be that it will be the first electric scooter to get an anti-skid function. Komaki says this will also create a benchmark in the EV sector. The biggest scooter in the economy range is designed to ensure a safe and balanced ride on the road. Powering the electric scooter is lithium ferro phosphate, which also returns a range of 80-90 km on a single charge. The Komaki LY is available in three colour options – Metal Grey, Jet Black and Garnet Red. Pricing for the Komaki LY starts at INR 88,000 onwards.
