Kia Motors has unveiled its new logo and a new brand slogan which aims to reflect the South Korean carmaker’s ambitions for the future. The brand’s slogan now says, ‘Movement that inspires’, by which the company wants to accentuate its commitment towards customer satisfaction and inspire more people to join with Kia Motors.
The new logo resembles a handwritten gesture and Kia claims that the unbroken lines convey the company’s undisputed dedication towards bringing more inspiration for future products and the rhythmic symmetric design bespeak Kia Motors’ proactive steps in shaping the future of mobility. Upon looking carefully, the rising lines are also visible which Kia says that they manifest the rising spirit of the company to be a forerunner in the world automotive industry.
The unveiling happened in Incheon, South Korea, where 303 pyro drones launched several fireworks in a very systematic manner to launch the new innings of Kia Motors with the new logo and brand slogan. In fact, this inauguration set up a new Guinness World Record for ‘Most unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launching fireworks simultaneously’. This event can also be experienced via the official Kia Global YouTube channel.
With the launch of the new identity for Kia Motors, it will now look into developing its products and spread its reach to more countries. Currently, Kia Motors has its services in over 190 markets and has employed over 52,000 employees. It has its manufacturing units in 6 different countries and sells around 3 million cars in a single calendar year. With the current trend shifting to electric vehicles which is the next revolution in the automotive industry Kia Motors is also taking substantial steps in that field.
Even in India, Kia is spearheading the SUV market with its Sonet being the top seller in the compact SUV segment. Kia along with its parent company Hyundai is running havoc to the monopoly of Maruti Suzuki in quite a number of segments. If the Korean siblings play their cards right, the days are not far when we could see a complete dominance of Kia and Hyundai in the Indian automotive market.
