Kia SP Concept SUV could be called Trazor, Tusker, SP-Z or Trailster

So, Kia Motors seems to be taking strides towards having their first product ready for the Indian market. The brand is now conducting a survey to figure out what they should name their first ever product for our market. Well, we know it is the SP Concept SUV, but Kia is confused between 4 names and wants the masses to help them out.

Most likely, the name which many have suggested is Trazor. So the Kia SP Concept could be called the Trazor when launched in 2019. The other names in the list include Tusker, SP-Z & Trailster. Well, we agree that Trazor sounds the best in this list. If you vote for this nomenclature, you could be lucky enough to win some exclusive Kia merchandise.

Kia has set up a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The SP Concept, or Trazor if we may start calling it from now, will enter production from mid-2019.

What we know so far, is that the Kia Trazor will be a rival to the likes of Hyundai Creta & Renault Captur. This mid-size SUV will be a 5-seater and could come paired to petrol and diesel engine options.

Kia is also working on more products for the Indian market. The brand is said to introduce a total of 4 cars in India in the next couple of years and a high volume sub-4 meter SUV is also on the cards. The other 2 cars in question are the Stonic & Grand Carnival / Sedona.
