Frost and Sullivan, a Growth Advisory Company, in its Total Cost of Ownership analysis report revealed that Kia cars have the lowest cost of maintenance in their respective segment. Kia cars such as Sonet, Seltos and Carens are the most value-for-money products in their segment, as per Frost and Sullivan. In addition to this, the growth advisory company also reveals that Kia offers the best technology, design, and quality along with globally acclaimed aftersales services. This makes Kia cars a valued purchasing decision.
According to the research, the Kia Carens turns-out to have the most economical maintenance costs for both petrol and diesel variants. The Carens offers maintenance costs 21% lower than petrol vehicles in its segment. Also, the Carens in the diesel avatar has maintenance costs which are 26% lower than the segment average.
The Kia Seltos offers the lowest maintenance costs for petrol variants. The brand reveals that the Seltos offers a minimum of 17% savings over the industry average. In addition to this, the Seltos also shares the lowest maintenance costs with another segment leader, reveals Kia. In terms of total cost of ownership, the Seltos secures the second-best TCO for its diesel variant and the third-best for its petrol variant.
The Kia Sonet in December 2023 became the car with the best maintenance cost in the Compact SUV segment. Compared to the segment average the Sonet’s maintenance costs for its petrol model is 16% lower than the segment average. In addition to this, the diesel variants’ maintenance costs is 14% lower than the segment average.
The competitive Total Cost of Ownership of the vehicle makes Kia a value-driven brand and offers customers an investment for the future. Kia retails the Carens, Seltos, Sonet and the EV6 in the Indian market.
