Kia India announces its sales report for August 2021. The company mentioned that it sold a total of 16,750 vehicles for the given period. This translates to year-on-year growth of 55 per cent. Seltos, repeating the feat, was again the top-selling product with a total sales of 8,619 units. Second on the list was Kia Sonet, which registered a total sales of 7,752 units. Kia Carnival accounted for a humble 379 units. The company was quite confident that the upcoming festive season will further increase the sales volume. In this calendar year, Kia India has sold over 1.3 lakh vehicles, which is quite remarkable.
Kia India Breaks Multiple Records
Recently, the carmaker became the fastest carmaker to register three lakh sales, of which 2 lakh units were of Seltos. And the next target is to reach the four lakh sales figure by early 2022. It is noteworthy to mention that, in such a short period, Kia is able to establish itself among the top five selling carmakers in this calendar year. One of the main reasons Kia manages to sell such a high volume of units is its vast dealership network. Currently, the carmaker has close to 300 touchpoints across the length and breadth of the country. Further, more touchpoints are getting added at a rapid pace.
