Kia has launched the five new trims of the Kia Seltos Diesel in India starting at INR 11,99,900/- ex-showroom. The new new Kia Seltos Diesel comes in the HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+ trims. The brand claims that among all OEMs, the Kia Seltos Diesel comes with the most transmission choices for diesel engines. This includes the introduction of a 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV is also available in the iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) and 7-speed automatic transmissions in top-spec variants. With the new Diesel Manual option the new Kia Seltos is now being offered with a total of 24 variants.
Kia Seltos Diesel – Price
The Kia Seltos Diesel comes with a price tag of INR 11,99,900/- ex-showroom fo the HTE trim. The HTK trim comes with a price tag of INR 13,59,900/- ex-showroom. Kia offers the HTK+ with a price tag of INR 14,99,900/- ex-showroom. The HTX variant comes with a price tag of INR 16,67,900/- ex-showroom. While the HTX+ variant which is the top-spec model with a manual transmission comes with a price tag of INR 18,27,900/- ex-showroom.
New Kia Seltos – Key Features
The New Kia Seltos comes with a number of attributes including Level 2 ADAS autonomous features. The SUV also comes with a dual-screen panoramic display including a 26.04 cm Full Digital Driver’s Display and a 26.03 cm HD Touchscreen Infotainment with Navigation.
The new Kia Seltos also comes with a Dual Zone Fully Automatic air-conditioning system and a Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof. The car also gets 17-inch Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels and an Electric Parking Brake. The Seltos also comes with 15 safety features standard across the range. The SUV also comes with 17 Level 2 ADAS Autonomous features bringing the total to 32 safety features.
New Kia Seltos – Diesel Engine Specifications
Powering the Kia Seltos Diesel is a 1.5-litre oil motor which produces 115 Hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The engine now comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Kia introduced the new Seltos in July 2023 and the brand has sold 65,000 units to date.
