Kia will soon be launching the facelift version of the Kia EV6 in the Indian market that has already made its debut in the International markets. The 2024 Kia EV6 comes with a new fascia, offering new light signatures and a few changes to its rear section. In addition to this, the facelift model also comes with new changes on the inside.
Now, reports reveal that Kia has filed design patents of the new EV6 at the intellectual property office in the Indian market. This leads us to believe that the car could be introduced soon in India. The patents reveal a design similar to the one revealed internationally. And the specification of the EV6 that will be available in India in the near future is likely to be similar to the one offered internationally. This means, the upcoming Kia EV6 is likely to come with a larger battery which will in turn offer more driving range.
In terms of design, the new EV6 comes with triangular headlamp housing and a boomerang LED DRL. The bumper has also be reprofiled and features a multiple slot lower air dam. Additionally, the rear bumper has also been worked on and comes with subtle changes, but overall, the tail section of the vehicle remains similar to the outgoing version. The new Kia EV6 also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels. On the interiors, the new Kia EV6 features a new 3-spoke steering wheel and gets dual screen display. The car also comes with a digital IRVM.
Powering the Kia EV6 is an 84 kWh battery pack which is larger that the 77.4 kWh battery, the car comes with currently in India. Also, the EV6 features a 225 Bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque with the RWD variant and 320 Bhp of power and 605 Nm of torque on the AWD dual motor variant. Depending on the variant, the Kia EV6 will also be offering a range of around 494 km on a single charge.
