Kia India has announced that the brand is now working with Map My India to enhance the navigation systems on Kia cars in India. The collaboration will allow Kia customers in India to enjoy high-tech and smart navigation solutions. Under the strategic partnership, Map My India will integrate with My Kia and Kia Connect platforms.
Thanks to the joint venture, customers will have an enhanced driving experience with accurate location services and a comprehensive place search information, reveals Kia. In addition to this, the platform also has a 4-wheeler-specific Points of Interest (POIs) search. This POI search spans over 450 categories and offers an easy access to vital services such as Kia dealerships and service centers. Furthermore, the POI search can also offer quick access to fuel stations, hospitals, hotels, restaurant locations, and more.
Kia also revealed that through the integration with Map My India, customers will also enjoy features such as speed limit alerts as well as real-time incident updates that includes water logging, road works, traffic jams), and voice-guided navigation support while driving.
In other news, Kia could also be planning to introduce the Clavis SUV in India soon. Test mules of the Clavis have been spotted in the country road testing the car. The Clavis is also likely to come with a Level 2 ADAS on its higher-spec trims. Spied pictures have revealed that the brand will offer the Clavis with LED headlamps and tailamps.
The Clavis is also likely to come with premium interiors including a dual screen infotainment and driver’s display as well as leatherette upholstery. While design features of the Clavis are not visible due to the camouflage on the test mule. However, by looking at the silhouette we can deduce that the Clavis will come with butch and upright design.
