Kia along with their 14 car strong line-up at the Auto Expo 2020 revealed the Seltos X-Line Concept. The Seltos X-Line Concept is based on the Kia Seltos SUV but features rugged features on the outside along with some distinguishing all-terrain inspired modifications made to its front and rear bumpers.
On the exteriors, the Kia Seltos X-Line Concept comes with a black-chrome grille with diamond knurled elements and X-Line badging in orange, black inserts on the LED headlamps, piano black accented bumper, orange inserts on the fog light area, do note the X-Line concept does not come with fog lamps. The bumper further gets an aluminium silver skid plate, Seltos badging on the bonnet line and piano black air vents. Coming to the profile the Seltos X-Line Concept gets gloss black lined wheel arches, 18-inch GT-Line style black alloy wheels, X-Line badging on the door, silver roof rails, shark-fin antenna, body integrated spoiler and the back has a Seltos badging in black along with a silver diffuser style skid plate on the rear and orange inserts on the rear bumper that keeps the design in-line with the front. The Kia Seltos in terms of its exterior dimensions measures 4315mm in length, 1800mm in width, 1645mm in height with a wheelbase of 2610mm.
The Kia Seltos X-Line Concept that was displayed came with a dark glasshouse but on the interior, it is expected to be the same as the current road-spec Kia Seltos which features 7.0-inch multi-information display, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect artificial intelligence (AI) for connectivity features and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, D-cut steering wheel, 2-step reclining rear seats, 60:40 split seats with adjustable rear centre headrest, sunshade curtains, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, wireless charging, tyre pressure monitoring system, Smart Pure Air purifier which can be controlled through the infotainment system, etc.
In terms of safety, the Kia Seltos gets features like six airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), heads-up display, 360-degree camera, blind view monitor system, BAS (Brake Force Assist System), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), Front and Rear Parking Sensors, HAC (Hill-start Assist Control) and ISOFIX child seat anchorage system.
