Kia Carnival premium MPV gets new features & variants

Kia has updated the Carnival with some new additions and features. Alongside this, Carnival will also get the new Kia logo. Kia has added two new trims to offer more flexibility and options, namely, Limousine and Limousine Plus. Thus, making a total of 4 variants for the Carnival, the other two being Prestige and Premium. Carnival is an MPV offering that is the epitome of luxury, comfort and convenience. To date, Kia has sold close to 8,000 units of these, and with these updates, the company will expect the sales figure to grow stronger.

What Are The New Additions?

The new Limousine variant has added new features on top of the Prestige trim. Starting with the VIP Premium Leatherette Seats with leg support in the 2nd row, that makes the ride quite luxurious. The rear passengers can now indulge themselves with the 10.1-inch rear-seat entertainment system, thus adding to the travel experience. The driver can make use of the 8-inch AVNT system with OTA map updates and UVO support, and ECM mirror, thus helping to navigate to unknown places and destinations.

Limousine Plus – Features

The Limousine Plus trim gets more added features when compared to the Limousine trim. This includes Electronic Parking Brake, Driver Seat Ventilation, Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. The car also features a 10 way Power Driver Seat, 25.65-Cm (10.1-inch) Dual Rear Seat Entertainment System, Harman Kardon Premium 8 Speaker Sound System, Premium Wood Garnish, and TPMS. Kia has confirmed that now, all the trims will get 18-inch Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels, thus amplifying the overall outlook of the car.

Price And Variants

After the update, the Kia Carnival range starts at INR 24,95,000 lakh and goes all the way till INR 33,99,000 lakh (ex-showroom). There are three seating options, 7, 8 and 9. The Premium trim is available with both 7 and 8 seater options. Meanwhile, the Prestige trim has both 7 and 9 seater options. The newly added Limousine and Limousine Plus trims only get the 7 seater option.
