The company had initially anticipated lower sales volumes but has now ramped up production to meet the unexpected demand. The bookings have remained steady even after the price announcement, with no cancellations reported so far.

Pricing and Variants

The Kia Carnival Limousine is priced at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in a single fully-loaded variant. The new MPV offers a spacious and luxurious cabin, equipped with premium features such as heated, ventilated, and powered seats, dual 12.3-inch displays, and an 11-inch heads-up display. 

Customer Demographics

The Carnival Limousine has attracted a diverse range of customers, from families looking for a comfortable and spacious vehicle for long journeys to business professionals seeking a premium ride for their daily commutes. The MPV’s combination of luxury and practicality has resonated well with buyers across different segments.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 193 horsepower and 441 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience.

Production and Delivery

To meet the high demand, Kia India is working to increase production at its Ananthapur plant. The company is also in discussions with its headquarters to secure more semi-knocked down (SKD) kits for assembly. Deliveries to customers have already commenced in a phased manner.
