Kia Carens facelift spotted road testing on Indian soil

Kia is planning to launch the new Carens MPV in the Indian market. The popular people mover is set to get a complete makeover and is likely to make its debut this festive season or in early 2025. The new Kia Carens is not only likely to come with exterior updates, but the MPV is also likely to come with refreshed interiors, new safety features as well. However, the new Kia Carens is not likely to receive any updates to the engine department.

Kia Carens Spotted in Delhi

While the new Kia Carens was only spotted testing in Korea, now new spyshots from Delhi reveal that a test mule is already here in India. This is the first time, the Kia Carens has been spotted on the Indian soil. The fully camouflaged mule does not reveal much, but sources also have a rendered images which gives us an idea how the new Kia Carens will look in the near future when it launches.

New Front and Rear

According to the spyshots, which only reveal the rear of the Carens, the MPV is likely to come with an aggressive design language and a new design taillamp. The taillights appear to be similar in design to the Seltos, however expect distinguishing design features on the rear. The lights on the rear are likely to be the company’s Star Map LED lights with a connected design.

On the front, the Kia Carens is likely to come with a new headlamp with a sharp design and LED DRLs. The front and rear bumpers on the Kia Carens are also likely to be refreshed with prominent features. However clear images of the front of the vehicle are still scarce.

New Features

In the features department, the Kia Carens is likely to come with features such as 10.25-inch dual screens on the dashboard. The infotainment screen is likely to come with connected features and voice assistance. In addition to this, the new Carens is also likely to come with a panoramic sunroof and Level 1 or Level 2 ADAS suite.
